Friday, October 1, 2010 “A TOAST ON THE HIGH PLAINS”
($80 / $55 per person tax included)
The event is to raise scholarship money for the Wine curriculum at Texas Tech and scholarship funds for the Neal Newsom Foundation of the Texas Wine and Grape Growers Association.
“The Toast” will include a 4-course dinner featuring perfectly paired Texan wines made from grapes grown here on the High Plains Region of Texas! Tickets will include appetizers, salads, main entre, and dessert, a small glass of wine paired with each course, music entertainment, meet the winemakers from several Texas Wineries, and meet the professors from Tech and an exclusive preview of the festival wineries.
Saturday/Sunday October 2 & 3, 2010 “THE GIANT SIP OF TEXAS”
($23 / $7 tax included)
A portion of the event proceeds will go to benefit the Lubbock Meals on Wheels, Wounded Warrior Project and The Hope Lodge/American Cancer Society. The event will showcase Texas Wineries, live entertainment, art booths and a chef’s demo tent sponsored by Carino’s which will pair food with the perfect Texas wines for all occasions.
College ID and Military ID and over 55 will receive $2 off ticket purchases at the door only!
Admission for 21 and older will include: ID Bracelet with 5 tabs good for 5 – “pre-purchased” 1oz taste at wineries of their choice, a souvenir glass, Live Music Entertainment all day with Tori Vasquez concert on Sat. night, cooking demos from Carino’s and Cigar Mini-Seminars from Hero’s and Legacies!
