The Spring Bluebonnet Wine and Cheese Trail

Its a wonderful way to enjoy the beauty of native Texas wildflowers and enjoy the blooming viticulture at some of Texas’ best wineries.

This is the namesake event for the Texas Bluebonnet Wine Trail.
For the first THREE weekends in April 2010, the wineries along the trail will offer a select pairing of two wines and two specially-crafted cheese dishes prepared with Texas cheeses from local artisans. As an added bonus, receive a packet of Texas Wildflower seeds at each winery you visit while supplies last. The Bluebonnets will be in full bloom, and with the late fall and winter rain, this Spring Bluebonnet Trail promises to be one of the most abundant yet. This is the perfect opportunity to see beautiful Texas wildflowers and enjoy fine Texas wine and fantastic cheese pairings.

Your trail ticket allows you to sample two wine pairings and two cheese pairings at each participating winery along The Bluebonnet Wine Trail. All of the wineries along the trail remind you to drink responsibly and designate a driver.
This event will be posted for the first three consecutive weekends in April. Your trail tickets are good on any of the dates, April 3-4, April 10-11 or April 17-18, 2010, regardless of when you purchase them. Bernhardt Winery, Colony Cellars, Cork This! Winery and Retreat Hill Winery will be closed on Easter Sunday, April 04, 2010. All of the wineries will be participating for all other dates on this trail.
