It’s Texas Wine Month is October and its time to be cool with Texas wine.

Hope you are all staying cool this summer, where and when possible! Now, here is something really cool and takes place in the Cool month of October, but you can buy tickets now.

Tickets are on sale for Texas Hill Country Wineries’ Texas Wine Month passport event that will be happening this year for the entire month of October at over 45 wineries in the beautiful Hill Country.

Texas Wine Month Passport – A great way to commune with friends and fellow Texas wine aficionados

This marks the third-of-four self-guided passport events Texas Hill Country Wineries hosts throughout the year, allowing consumers to experience a world of Texas wine at a variety of participating hill country wineries.

With the purchase of a digital passport, ticket holders can taste at up to four wineries per day over the course of the month, as well as receive exclusive discounts on bottle purchases. Reservations are recommended, especially for weekend visits. 

Passport tickets are $120/couple or $85/individual. $5 from each ticket sold goes directly to the Texas Hill Country Wine Industry Scholarship Fund. In total, more than $55,500 has been awarded to 47 Texas students working towards a degree in Viticulture, Enology or Hospitality.

In addition, Texas Hill Country Wineries new website is now live at https://texashillcountrywineries.org, so be sure to check it out! You can download a map and list of all of the wineries participating in this year’s passport event, and the map feature is now easier to explore.

Finally, THCW’s Fall Winemaker Dinner will take place at Sage in Fredericksburg on Thursday, September 7th. Attendees will enjoy a night of culinary excellence with a six-course menu perfectly paired with some of the Texas Hill Country’s finest wines. Proceeds will also benefit the Texas Hill Country Wine Industry Scholarship Fund.
