The Reimagined Event Will Offer Enhanced Local Culinary and Beverage Experiences in the Heart of the Texas Hill Country
If you know the old movie line, “Badge! We don’t need no stinkin’ badge!”. Well, it doesn’t apply here. These are the Badges you will really want to have!
The Fredericksburg Chamber of Commerce is thrilled to announce that Badges for the Fredericksburg Food & Wine Festival will be available for purchase on Wednesday, July 24, 2024. This year’s reimagined event will take place on October 25th and 26th 2024, and promises an elevated and unforgettable experience. It blends the finest cuisine, wines, craft beers, and spirits amid the scenic backdrop of Marktplatz on Main Street in Fredericksburg.
Four badge tiers will be available, as follows:
- Locals-Only ($100): This discounted, locals-only badge is exclusively for attendees from the 78624 zip code and offers access to all general admission activities.
- General Admission ($150): Grants entry to over 15 culinary pop-ups, 30+ beer, wine, and spirits tastings, and access to widespread garden and vineyard experiences.
- VIP ($295): Limited-availability VIP tickets include GA benefits, plus private lounge access, refreshments, food and wine pairings, extended time and early access to the event.
- Weekender ($595): Includes VIP amenities, plus a guaranteed seat at Friday night’s “The Street Dinner” and a seat at one of the culinary demo stage events.
The 2024 festival will feature new branding, programming, and experiences. With over 20 culinary booths, 30 wineries, breweries, distilleries, and specialty activations, and four badge tiers, the festival promises something for every palate. Attendees can look forward to an array of activities and add-ons, including:
- The Street Dinner: Kick off the festival with an exclusive evening featuring gourmet cuisine from five local chefs, Texas Hill Country wine, local spirits and live music.
- Vino Vinyasa with Hye Thai at Marktplatz: Start your morning off with an all-levels yoga class followed by a wine tasting and bites from Hye Thai.
- The Fischer & Weiser Waterfront Brunch: Hosted at the picturesque Fischer & Weiser Farmstead, guests can savor brunch cocktails by Dietz Distillery and regional dishes with live music.
- Family Friendly Brew & Moo at The Henning Lot: This free, family-friendly event provides access to OroBianco’s Water Buffalo Petting Area, plus gelato, fresh coffee by local favorite, Sure Shot, and giveaways.
- Culinary & Craft Beverage Hands-On, Demo Stage Events at The Grand Tasting Event at Marktplatz: Learn from the best as top chefs and mixologists from the region share their secrets and showcase their culinary and mixology skills. These add-ons will be available in August 2024.
