We’re super proud of these two fellows, who in their friendship climbed the steep ladder to earn the title of Master Sommelier (MS) together this month in Las Vegas. Craig Collins is the sales manager in Austin for the Prestige division of Glazer’s. Craig worked so hard through the recent transition of Prestige by Glazer’s and also stayed focused on getting his MS. We look forward to Craig bringing his newly earned expertise to help Guy Stout and the Glazer’s group to forward the cause of fine wine and education in the middle tier.

Devon Broglie, who is the regional wine guru for Whole Foods, has also been working double duty, opening new wine departments in new and existing Whole Foods as well as his studies. Mammoth undertakings for anyone but when both tasks are done at the same time and under enormous pressure, we can only look on in awe at the accomplishments of these two young men and wish them a long and healthy career in the wine business.

Love to taste, talk and tweet about Texas wines and where they are in the global scheme for wines. After all that's the only way they will reach the full potential.
